ABOUT THE SHOW
The Bellingen Show is more than an event – it's a celebration of our community's past, present, and future. As an integral part of the Bellinger Valley for over 140 years, we attract more than 4,000 visitors each year.
A much loved EVENT THAT reflects our past, celebrates our present and looks to our future.
Held annually since 1881, the Bellingen Show is an integral and much loved sustainable and inclusive community event that reflects our past, celebrates our present and looks to our future, and brings together members of the community from across the Shire and beyond.
The Show provides an opportunity for all ages to showcase their unique skills and talent through traditional agricultural events, the exhibition of produce, arts and crafts, and local entertainment.
We celebrate our rural heritage, and keep alive traditional crafts and skills while also introducing new and innovative features to showcase the changing nature of our unique community.
The Bellingen Show features traditional show activities as well as artisan displays, the much loved Mongrel Dog Show, Traditional Games for kids of all ages, the exciting Partner Carrying Competition and Young Farmer Challenge, a Silent Disco and youth Chill Tent.
The Entertainment Tent is full of local performers of all ages strutting their stuff, while trade, exhibition and food vendors including the Show’s own Luncheon Room delight, entertain and nourish patrons. It’s a wonderful weekend for everyone!

WHO WE ARE
Bellingen Show committee membership is currently 14 volunteers who represent major sections of the Show. The committee meets monthly, and our annual planning session held in October sets operational priorities for the next Show.
Sub-committees representing the various sections are responsible for planning their area in detail, and may include individuals with particular expertise who are not Show committee members but who have key roles in the running of the Show.
